Downloading Finale

After purchasing Finale, you can download your software from the My Software section of your MakeMusic account.

Click here to log into your account to download Finale software.

If you have trouble downloading the installer, here are some suggestions to help with common issues:

  • Try the download from another web browser. If you have not already tried Google Chrome or Firefox, try one of those. If you are already using one of these browsers, please try the other.
  • If you are connected to the internet by Wi-Fi, connect with an Ethernet cable directly and try again.
  • Sometimes, downloads can be interrupted by a computer's hard drive falling asleep. Please keep your computer awake during the download process if you are having trouble.
  • If your internet connection is not able to download large files, or you have limited usage and would prefer not to download larger files, we do offer an optional media kit that is available for purchase. You can purchase the media kit after purchasing Finale using the gray Buy Media Kit link in the My Software section of your MakeMusic account.
