"Selected accompaniment is missing license info" error when opening music

If you encounter this error you will need to delete and re-download the piece of music in order to open it.

To delete music from the desktop application:

  1. Launch SmartMusic. 
  2. Click My Library
  3. Right-click (CONTROL+click on Mac) the piece you are trying to open and choose Delete.

To delete music from the iPad app:

  1. Tap My Library (or On My iPad for previous versions of SmartMusic). 
  2. Slide your finger from right to left on the piece you are trying to open. Delete controls appear. 
  3. Tap Delete.
