If you encounter this error you will need to delete and re-download the piece of music in order to open it.
To delete music from the desktop application:
- Launch SmartMusic.
- Click My Library.
- Right-click (CONTROL+click on Mac) the piece you are trying to open and choose Delete.
To delete music from the iPad app:
- Tap My Library (or On My iPad for previous versions of SmartMusic).
- Slide your finger from right to left on the piece you are trying to open. Delete controls appear.
- Tap Delete.
