Hello,
concerning the chord styles offered by Finale, I want to request (again) the ability to choose also a modern solfeggio (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si) in the menu styles.
The Solfeggio style offered in Finale is out of use in many cases, it is the traditional solfeggio style that is out of use in modern books score production for modern European music writing/teaching.
Tha Solfeggio in Finale is: DO, RE, MI, FA, SO, LA, TI
The modern is DO, RE, MI, FA, SOL(not So), LA, SI (not Ti).
I want submit to your attention that Dorico, Sibelius and Muse Score allows this in the preferences from long time ago, Finale needs this too, please.
Please, make this possible in Finale default styles menu, in this way we can choose also other fonts appearence in the document preferences.
The workaround today is a very complicated procedure that forces the user to be an advanced user by searching on the web for some user of good will who can send a font that translates the chords, install the font and hope that it works. In fact, I happened to use a Spanish font that for some polychords appears corrupt and therefore unusable.
Please, implement the style as part of in Finale, maybe I'm wrong, but I think that it does not require some complex procedure in the program code, just an addition of seven notes names.
I hope for your consideration, Finale is a nice software, I know many users who have decided to buy Dorico or Sibelius and not Finale due to these limitations which, in my opinion, are really trivial and which take away from Finale a good user base that appreciates the software for its power but who is willing to look elsewhere due this banal but important limitations.
Thanks for your attention, I wish you a good job and greetings from Italy
