Having a big issue with getting my Finale 27 to stop an a "Fine" at the end of a repeated section in an arrangement that has a DC al Fine. My playback does a perfect job on making the transition back to bar 1 and starting over. I might add, the arrangement has two-8 bar repeated sections, which Finale plays back, on the DC only once. I assume that is correct on a "classical" DC. Now when I get to the 8th measure of the second, repeated 8 bar section, where my "Fine" is placed, it just keeps on going and doesn't stop. The form of this piece is a classical, Handel Gigue.

I know it must be how I have this Fine configured. Have any suggestions to make this Fine work?

Thanks so much..

I suppose that your Fine is a text repeat - right?

You must set up the Fine to stop playback on the correct Pass.

I do not know your Finale document, but it is my guess that the Fine should stop the playback on Pass 3.

Peter, thanks so much for the help! I didn't have the correct number set into the "Stop On Pass" which should have been set to #3. I had #2 as my number. I changed it and it works fine, now.

As always, I totally appreciate your assistance.
