When exporting an audio file, it would be great to have two options (either there in the export dialog box or in the overall "Preferences" for Finale):
1. Number of seconds of silence (a floating point value) before the audio begins in the file. Reason: Many electronic playback devices today take a brief moment to initialize or power up their amps (to save power) when they begin playing and this cuts off the first half second or so of any audio file whose audio starts INSTANTLY at the beginning of the file. I'm always having to insert a blank measure at the beginning of my score to prevent this from happening.
2. Option to normalize the audio to a certain dB. I know this will require rendering the entire file and then going BACK over the whole thing, but it would prevent me from having to open Audacity as a second step to do this with every audio file I export.
