I have in previous versions of Finale and on all my computers (Pc) experienced lagging problem, now still in Finale 25. It is when I move a score with the hand tool in page view. The problem is of course bigger, zoomed out and the more staves and notes there are on the screen. I have now got me a new pc laptop with quad core (AMD) 1,8 - 3,2 ghz speed and dedicated grafic card (wich I think kick in only when playing 3d-games). You might expect a better performance on a new computer. A little bit of lagging would be ok but now it takes almost a second for the score to hang on when I move it. Setting the computer to highest performance (not balanced) seem to improve the performance but very little. Mac users don´t seem to have this problem. I know they are better and more expensive but is there a way to improve my computers performance? Thank you very much in advance.
