I managed to save my files before my old 2012 Macbook Air crashed. But, I cannot get Finale 2011 to function on my new 2015-16 Mac Air.  (LOVE FINALE 2011)

It installs, but every time I try to start it up, I get an error message of some kind. So, it does not work.

Is there some trick to get this to work, or will it not work on newer Macs?
