Grabbing the wedges/arrowheads/triangles to adjust the baseline of lyrics, chords, etc. is often difficult when the cursor remains a cross-hair instead of turning into a pointer. In v25 the screen often jumps away from the cursor when I try to click on the arrowheads. This function should be more reliable.

Hi Adrian and Christopher:
Yes, the baseline handles need many improvements (FIN-4369). We have to take a look at this very soon.

Yes, and CLEARING baseline adjustments should be easier. Deleting every measure in the piece SHOULD clear baseline adjustments on the systems that don't exist any more, but lo and behold, when you add a new system it REMEMBERS what the old systems had for baselines!

XML export/import will clear that data in the meanwhile (not the arrow problem, but the adjusted baseline stickiness for lyrics and chords)

Jonathan,

I posted this in your other thread, but I repeat it here to save others too much trouble. MusicXML loses a lot of information. Adding a new staff will have all the baseline set to the default (except the left-most one, which is document-wide), then you can copy the contents of the problem staff into the new staff. Use JW Copy Part Layout if neccesary to copy the part formatting over, and then delete the old staff.
