First off try to export the file as XML, just in case. Also see if you can change the location of your Finale Temp files to a convenient folder where you can manually clear it out occasionally if necessary. (Changing that location is in Edit > Preferences > Folders on the bottom row.) Then see if you can save your file or export it as a Finale 2012 file.
