I re-saved a very old (2004?) file as a PrintMusic 2011 (Finale Notation File.) I'm trying to  use the Measure Tool \ Measure Menu \ Show Numbers  in order to see the measure numbers and have them print.

In the Staff tool for each instrument, I verified that for"edit staff attributes," the "Display Measure Numbers" box is checked.

I've read through  a couple of the older posts, and it appears that I might not be able to do this. But, just wondering?
