My previous version of Finale was 2009. No issues.  It seems this 64 bit version is terrible for me. Why is it so damn hard to find email support.  BTW the trouble shooting on this support site did not help.  2 machines with the same result.  Worst software purchase of 2016 for me.  I have Notion and it works fine but I prefer the workflow of Finale. 

 This is just the start of problems.  The other system Finale does not allow me to change midi controller.  It always selects my Line 6 Guitar Port which really doesn't have a controller. 

 One machine has an M-Audio 2496, the other a Steinberg U22.  These should have no issues in ASIO mode.

 

 

 Please let me know what and where needs to be emailed.

 Thanks! It will take some time before I submit everything.  I have two systems.  The behavior isn't always consistent.
