I'm trying to write 3 quarter note triplets, 6 eight note triplets, and 9 sixteenth note triples grouped as I described.

In both Simple Entry Options and Speedy Entry Options there is a checkbox to turn off fill with rests.

Turn off how? When I go to:

Utilities/Check notation/Fill with rests

The  "fill with rests" option is grayed out. I can't change it.

Finale version 25.5.0.290
Windows 10

It's not in utilities, it's in Simple Entry Options or Speedy Entry Options.
