Finale crashes immediately when tryint open Expression Tools. Same with all files

This never happened before today

Sorry about bad description - Finale crashes when clicking a note for expression mark entry.

It sounds like the issue you are facing has to do with a tool malfunction which can usually be resolved by resetting Finale's preferences. Please follow the applicable set of steps in this knowledge base article to reset Finale's preferences: Resetting Finale's preferences (using a tool crashes Finale, etc.)
