Have a look here.

http://www.sibelius.com/helpcenter/resources/soundsets.html

You can download the Garritan soundsets you need under the "Sound sets for Sibelius 6" heading.  They'll work just as well in all the versions newer than 6.  The instructions posted for versions 7 and later that tell where to place the soundset XML file are still valid as well.

This information contained in the link did not solve the problem.

I have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get your product to work in my environment.
Frankly I do not understand why a separate "for Sibelius Users" doesn't appear in your support webpage.

If you can't provide me with information I need I hereby request a refund.

I'm not an employee of any of these companies.  I'm just a long time user offering up the link.

On Windows, I do use JABB3 in Sibelius (From versions 7.5 - Current), Finale (2012 - Current), Dorico, Cubase Pro Versions 7 - 9, and Bidule.  It works quite well in them all.

I wish I could be of more help on the Macintosh Platform, but once you figure out which directory to place the JABB3.XML file and restart Sibelius you should find that you can then link the soundset to ARIA instances in the Sibelius Playback Configuration.

The soundsets also come inside the installation I think, but you still have to move them into the proper directory on your system.  Your challenge to get soundsets installed into Sibelius are going to be quite similar with any and all sample libraries on the market.  Each host (Notation package) has unique ways of implementing VST or AU plugins and controlling them.

Hopefully someone more versed in Mac OS will come along and know better what questions to ask to get you sorted.

You might also find better and faster responses about Sibelius here:

No problem, I should build a signature with a disclaimer line.

Good luck getting it working.  I'd attempt to go into more detail on common things to look for and trouble shoot, but I'm not sure if the Mac Version uses VST or AU plugins, and where Mac OS likes you to keep things.

I can say that I get quite a bit of trouble free use from the library.  It's pretty good and versatile stuff for the money.  Sorry getting set up is giving you trouble.
