I installed Kontakt for finale 25, but its not showing up where i think it should. Where do i need to look, and do i need it????

Be sure you have installed the 64-bit version of the Kontakt player VST plug-in

In addition to what J Adrian said above, if you are still not seeing the Kontakt player in Finale, you may have to take some additional steps to clear out some of Finale's AU caching (what it uses to see what AU/VST plug-ins are installed). This is assuming you are on a Mac. Try the steps in this knowledge base article: Unable to access AU/VST plug-ins in Finale for Mac (Garritan, Kontakt, etc.)
