I'm using a MacBook. I downloaded the free trial of Finale a while ago. After the trial ran out I waited probably half a year and then bought Finale V25. I downloaded it and all of the midis and everything. Afterwards, I tried to save something I was working on and it said that my free trial has expired. I tried putting in the serial code but that did not work. The free trial was Finale 2014.5 so I'm. It sure if that's the same thing, but it should have updated shouldn't it? I need to get the finale I just bought, v25 to run on my MacBook.

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for posting!

I can definitely confirm that you have a registered Finale v25 serial number, but if for some reason you are still in the 2014.5 trial this will not work. These two versions would've been installed side-by-side, so open up your Mac's Applications folder, launch the app that is just called "Finale" (no version number), and then try to use your serial number there when prompted to authorize.

If you don't have an app called "Finale", you can log into your MakeMusic account, use the green Download button to download the Finale installer, run the full installer, restart your computer, and then check your Applications folder again.

Hope this helps!
