I have Finale Print 2014.5 on MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.1

I cannot edit or copy from a score while a second score is open. This means to copy something I keep having to close each score in turn!

This takes so much time, especially as just now with an orchestral score that I am hoping someone understands this problem and can help ... please?
