Is anyone using Finale 25 with Ableton 9 64 bit via Rewire? I'm finding Finale doesn't process simple entry notes, as well as defaults to all piano sounds. In standalone more Finale 25 doesn't allow tempo changes. The option to reset rewire in Finale is randomly grayed out.
I want to love rewire and Finale 25, but my workflow has been seriously hampered.
I just upgraded to Finale 25 (like yesterday) to use it with my Ableton Live 9 Suite to make music for video/film, and one thing I found is that you need to click the little sync button at the top left (below the selection icon) to make sure Live picks up Finale changes. Try that and see if the changes go through. The odd thing is, you don't always need to do it: sometimes the Live immediately sees them (score edits, instrument changes, etc.), but other times you have to manually click the sync button. Until they fix this (I'm not even sure if this is expected behavior), see if sync fixes your problems.
