Using Windows 10 with Finale 25.2.  Was working great until last week.  Attempted to apply expression and Finale crashed.  Repeated every time.  Help desk analyzed plogue engine file and indicated a conflict with Conexant audio used on my system and recommended an external sound card to alleviate the problem.  I got a StarTech sound card and it does improve the sound, but doesn't solve my problem with Finale crashing.  With the plethora of external sound cards available, which ones are compatible with Finale 25 that will not cause conflicts?
