Hello,

I am running Finale 2014.5 on Windows 10.

I have come across a number of chord alterations that are not available by default in Finale, such as 7(b9,#9). I am trying to create this from an existing chord (7 (b9, #5)), but when I change the '5' to a '9', the alteration doesn't display vertically stacked anymore (E.g. b9 positioned above #9).

Is there any way to create custom chords (either from scratch or from an existing chord) and preserve the formatting for the alterations?

The attached image shows the out-of-the-box b9,#5 chord with the formatting I want, and the actual chord (b9,#9) that is not formatted correctly. Thanks for your help.
