I'm using Finale 2014.5 on a Windows 10 computer. My M-Audio keyboard has gone kaput so I'm trying to switch to my old Korg NanoKey. Finale recognizes the Korg but it only shows up in Midi In on Channel 17. I can't switch it to Base Channel 1. If I choose it in Base Channel ! it says it's already in use. If I put none in Channel 17 and then try to open it in Channel 1 it says I have to wait to reassign it. I'm stymied (and going nuts). Any ideas?

TIA -

I have exactly the same keyboards and Fin2014.5 (Win8.1 though) and everything shows up in the right place (plug the keyboard in before you start up Finale) - if you uncheck Auto-detect Input Device, can you then perhaps manually set it to Base Channel 1?

Have you tried Advanced Option for your MIDI In setup?

I cannot since I have nothing feeding into Channel 17.
