I've been using the free temporary download. It works fine for my conventionally-notated pieces, but I'm frustrated with having to use a metered, albeit hidden time signature. My question is: is there a Finale product that will let me write chant using stemless notes rather than neumes, but in a truly unmetered style, so I don't have to write approximations of chant, when what I want is true chant flow?

Hi David:

You might also consider the Finale Medieval Plug-in, available for Mac with Win coming soon, for your "true chant flow" notational needs. We do not plan to integrate this functionality into Finale at this time.

Enter the notes as needed, and then convert them to stemless. There is a JW plugin (Meter and Rhythm?) that will let you quickly deal with the time signatures.

No other way, as far as I know.
