 Windows 10, Finale 2012

If I want to create individual parts for a hand bell choir of 12 people, do I need to input the score as having 12 different hand bell instruments?  Or can the score be input on a grand staff, and then tell Finale to pull out, for example, notes F4, F#4, and G4 on one part;  A4 and B4 on another part; etc?  If the latter is possible, please give advice on how to do this.  Thank you.

I used to conduct a student handbell choir, and we never printed separate parts for each player (and I cannot imagine trying to follow one). Everyone read from the same  grand staff.

In my 20+ years of playing, conducting, and composing for handbells, I've never heard of separating individual parts. A set of handbells is considered one instrument and the players need to see the context of their notes so they can play them appropriately. If you want individual parts just for people's personal review at home, you might have to copy/paste into a new document and delete all the notes that aren't each person's. More commonly, if individual parts must be brought to the players' attention, highlighting or circling their notes with a specific color can be useful (and much easier).
