Hi Michael,

the is a shortcut for the Main Tool Palette (CMD+T), but no one for turning on/off the playback control, at least on the Mac.

Best

Hi Dr. Thöne:

Duly noted as part of the broader story for user-defined keyboard shortcuts (FIN-4457). In the meantime, you can program your own keyboard shortcuts in the Mac System Preferences - Keyboard dialog box under the Shortcuts or use Keyboard Maestro for more robust automation needs.

Hello,

I have been using shortcuts wonderfully until I used Finale 2014.5. With Finale 25, my shortcuts don't work anymore. They regularly show up in the menu, as I assign them, but simply do not perform the action anymore.

Is this a known issue and is there any solution to that? (I am on a Mac, 10.12.6

Thank you,

Gab

Are your shortcuts, perhaps, unable to connect to Finale v25 because they were created for a 32-bit rather than the current 64-bit version of Finale?

Hi,

thank you for your comment - maybe? How would I be able to figure that out and fix it if necessary?

Thanks! Those are a big time saver!
