I just downloaded the trial of Finale 25, but whenever I go to open the setup wizard (either by clicking "file" in the dropdown menu or by using the shortcut ctrl+N) the program becomes unresponsive.  have attempted re-booting after the installation and this did not help. I am on Windows 10 operating system. I have also attempted waiting a full hour to see f the program would start responding and open the setup wizard, but it continued being stuck in an unresponsive state. My old Songwriter 2010 is still working completely fine and I have no issues with delays o going unresponsive.

Hi Kristianna,

 

At first glance, it seems like the program may be missing or having rouble finding a necessary component. You may want to try reinstalling the trial to see if it will take. You can do a basic uninstallation of Finale from the Programs and Features section of your computer's Control Panel. After doing so, you can run the installer once more.
