It seems that there's a compatibility problem with Finale 2014.5 and the latest version of  Avast Free Antivirus (2017 I believe).

On launch Finale freezes. The interface starts to load but isn't able to complete, and keeps loading forever. If I try to close the program, then Windows says that the program has stopped responding. This didn't happen with the previous version of Avast (2016).

As I have read in the solutions already published by Makemusic, starting the services applet and then shutting down the Print Queue service, solves the problem and Finale is able to load an work normally.

I use Windows 10 Home 32 bits, by the way.

Is there a way to solve this issue?
