Are there updates to GPO5?  I downloaded GPO5 May 2016, but I don't know how to tell the build version I have.  Have there been bug fix releases since then?  If so, how do I get them?

Hi Clay,

 

There was one major update early on in the GPO 5 cycle that included some installer updates and some bug fixes for a few back end issues and problems with ensemble loading. If you are having troubles loading any ensembles, or if the installer you used is noted as "...5" instead of "...5.01", then you most likely have an older version of the library. Outside of that, there isn't a good way to test the version of specific Garritan libraries.

 

If you wan to be sure you are up-to-date, you can download the latest update of the Garritan installer from your MakeMusic account.

my MakeMusic account. only has download named "Garritan_Personal_Orchestra_5" 4.3GB

Where to get the 5.01?

Hi Thomas,

 

To clarify, you won't see "GPO 5.01" listed in your MakeMusic account, but the installer file itself should be named that when you download from your MakeMusic account.
