upgraded from 2014d.  Big mistake.  takes finale 55 secs to 2 mins and 9 seconds to load after splash screen vs. 6 seconds with 2014.

I use finale exclusively for producing lead sheets/chart for my band - mostly from midi files from midi-hits.  Worked GREAT in 2014.  Installed ONLY the finale core and makemusic fonts.  I have no need for garritan instruments.

When I extract parts in finale 25 from the same midi files, I get a "blob" of black junk at the upper left in the screen for the part.  Like you tried to put the whole song - 100-200 measures in the space of one measure.  Tried "fit music" 4 bars per line, 1 bar per line, etc.  no difference in appearance. 

Anyone else seen this?  this is a huge problem.

windows 10, good computer, lots of ram, etc.  only program running.  uninstalled and reinstalled, booted, rebooted, all that, no help.
