This is happening almost every time I export a WAV. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any fixes?

Speaking for myself, I have not experienced that (but I am still using Windows 7).

Hi Lorna,

Thanks for posting!

You mentioned this is happening whenever you try to export, but just to be sure, does this also happen when you export a document newly created using the Setup Wizard (File > New > Document With Setup Wizard)?

If a new document works and others don't, you may want to try turning Human Playback off and trying to export audio as a test to see if that is a contributing factor (MIDI/Audio > Human Playback > None).

All in all, these tests will help you narrow down the issue a bit, but I would recommend contacting Customer Success for further assistance if the issue persists. You can do so using the Submit a request link at the top of this page.

Hope this helps!

We had this exact same problem with V25.3+  using Windows 10.  Using the New>Document With Setup Wizard did not improve the situation for us.

However, we closed ALL possible programs running except Finale, and the export was successful and saved as a .wav file without crashing.

You might try this before submitting a tech. support request.

Hope this helps,

Beel
