macOS Sierra 10.12.4 Difficulty opening the application 2014.5. Multiple error messages (5 to 10 or more) that finale 2014.5 quit unexpectedly, either cancel or reopen.
I'm guessing you upgraded to Finale 2014.5 rather than 2015.5. If you downloaded via Chrome, try using another browser to install the new program. There have been problems reported by some who have used Chrome to try to install their software.
Thank you for the comment. There is no Finale 2015.5 that I can find. Also, I used the newest Safari to download 2014.5.
