I have loaded my COMB 2 on my Mac and when I go to playback Audio Units, I get the message "The requested virtual instrument plugin could not be found."
Does COMB2 use ARIA or some other player?
If it uses ARIA, log into your MakeMusic account and check out that you have the latest ARIA player, and once you get that running check in the info tab for engine updates.
If it uses something other than ARIA, it's probably going to be old 32bit stuff. You'll have to research the possibility of some kind of 32bit bridge to get it working? You might try something like jBridge for VST. If you're got to have AU plugins I don't know what to tell you since I've no Mac experience, but you might try searching for links like this one: http://www.superhex.com/?p=311
