I have Win 64 & pro and Finale 25. I want an instrument which will sing my lyrics intelligibly and with expression. There are text-reading programs and HTML markup systems and Audio libraries of voices and pitch shifters and all the parts necessary to make singing voices, but no applications. I want a VSTi plug-in or stand-alone or both. If it exists already, I can't find it. If I have to build one, I will never get to use it because it would take me a decade to put it together. Any suggestions?

Hi Charles:
This request has been made before (here). It is a rather difficult problem that isn't currently on our roadmap. As mentioned in the other thread EW Symphonic Choir is something you might want to check out. Thank you for posting the request.

Just saw this. The intro video is worth watching as it discloses the various problems with virtual "singing" voices. Speaking voices has been with us for a while. But musical rhythms expand and contract speech rhythms, thus the problem of creating virtual voices. My guess is the man hours is almost not worth it financially to charge a fee to recoup R & D and find a market for it. How much of a market would there be? Getting choirs to (as Robert Shaw would say) sing sounds of syllables; don't sing syllables. A daunting task and EW Symphonic has come so close.
Although it doesn't sing lyrics, the Eric Whitacre sample library sounds very nice to me, but it is fairly expensive

For those on a budget, Spitfire audio has released a free version of the choir in their labs series. It's basically just a single patch from the Whitacre sample library.
Ciao, qualcuno ha provato questa libreria per le voci?
Cosa pensi?
