It would be nice to be able to relink items to the score by selecting a region and relinking all selected items within the region. One solution would be to make such a feature available in the PDK and then it could be a plugin. (A plugin makes sense here to me, but ymmv.)

Currently I can think of a way that might work for a plugin to relink special tools edits, but it relies on a Finale behavior that might change. Anyway, to be right it should be available for anything that can be unlinked.

Ultimately, though, whether it's a PDK change or not, there needs to be a way to do it.

Yes, this is a great request that many others have made. Documented as FIN-4551, I'm not sure of implementation.

Win 10, Fin 26

Has this been done yet?  I am having to go through each page (though I could back out and select a larger area, I admit), first relinking all the articulations, then switching to the expressions, then to the smartshapes, etc.  This would be a great time-saver if it could be done all at once.

It has not been done in Finale, but my Mass Copy plugin can do it for many items, including articulations, expressions, and smartshapes. Even better, if you run the plugin in part view it will (optionally) link the score to the settings in the part.
