Windows 10, Finale 2014.5...I can create "x" noteheads to indicate tapping on the harp soundboard, but it plays back as harp/piano voice. How can I get a knocking sound instead?
Depending on the complexity of the music, you can set the tapping notes in a different layer. Alternately you can use the Speedy Edit Frame to make the tapping notes non-playable and create a hidden staff to produce the tapping sounds.
