When using Hyperscribe Finale 25 the first note that I play is often missing. I'm a very tight player because I play with the metronome click in a live setting every time I play which is often. I've been having this problem since Finale 2014 and I'm getting sick of it. It's like finale just doesn't hear the first note or chord. I don't have to struggle with any of the other Music software that I use (Logic X, Reaper, Ableton Live).

Specs: (Why isn't there a signature option??)

2013 MacBook Pro running Sierra

I use an MPK 88 controller connected via USB.

For a signature option, go to the pull-down under your name in the stripe above. Under profile there is one box where you can add information. Then anyone who clicks on your name in a post (you can try clicking on my name, for example) can see the information you placed there.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for posting!

I am curious, have you tried the suggestions in the article linked below yet to see if they help?

HyperScribe best practices

If not, I would certainly give them a shot (especially adjusting quantization options) to help Finale optimize its recognition of your playing. If this doesn't work out, you may want to get in direct contact with one of our support agents for some additional assistance. You can do this using the Submit a request link at the top of this page.

Hope this info helps!

I have noticed the same problem with my set up. It misses the first note of the first bar every time.
