Please, please, please Provide a way to turn ReWire OFF! Almost every time I start Finale I have to reset it and restart Finale. A PITA for sure.

Hi William and Lars:

Yes, we plan to provide better feedback upon start up of Finale if you will be in rewire mode as well as a way to turn it off at that point (FIN-5032). I can understand your frustration. Thank you for the request.

Yes, just saying' Rewire is useful sometimes, but just saying: usually it is an unnecessary complication to my workflow and we'd be much happier if it could default to OFF, stay in that mode to be invoked as needed.

Yes, two years later, and still a major PIA. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. It would be so simple.
