Hello:

I am running Finale 25.2.0.79 on a Mac OS X (Yosemite) 10.10.5  (inside= 1/2 1Tb hard disk, 16Gb RAM, 2.4 GHz Core 2).

Since upgrading to Finale 25, the playback function will not stop by either merely clicking on the stop button or hitting the space bar.

Instead, one must do either one multiple times to get the program to respond.

I have tried clearing preferences.  This does not solve the problem.

Anyone out there encounter this issue?  Anyone have a solution??

I have the same problem, and know of no solution.

Multiple Clicks are also needed on Expressions and Smart Shapes, very annoying.

Then there's the Page flipping back and forth, VERY annoying.

I hope this will be addressed in the next update.

Interesting -- I do not have a constant problem with Expressions and Smart Shapes, though they

have stuck at times.  I've also gotten the page flip -- but not constantly.   I was hoping these

would be addressed  in 25.2 -- but they were not.  It is hard to understand how this program

is being used by so many people without complaint.  My guess is that they use limited 

functions, don't open orchestral size scores, and, perhaps, use it as a midi input device

(which I have never been able to get it to do -- and don't really need).
