Is there any way to add a fermata to a rest? I am preparing a SATB piece and for consistency, I'd like to add the fermata to a bar rest for the voices not singing

I am running PrintMusic 2014.5 on a Mac running OS X 10.12.3

Manually add a real whole rest to the measure. You can affix the fermata to that.
