Unable to open a file I worked on for several hours. Finale 2014  -. I had this same problem several months ago on a different file and someone there had to "recover it" under case #100330-000253, I think. I don't understand why this is happening and it is getting very annoying, since I need this file now.

Thanks for your help

I don't understand what you mean. I am not a computer guru and don't know how to respond. What support ticket?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for posting!

I would definitely take Mike's advice and write into our Customer Success team using the Submit a request link at the top of this page. Please be sure to include the file in question. Depending on the error, the file may be recoverable; however, if it isn't, you will definitely want to check for backups. Backups (by default) save to Documents > Finale Files on your computer.

As a side note, I just wanted to mention that I edited your original post and removed the serial number. As this is a public forum we ask that, for your security, you avoid posting secure information like email addresses, serial numbers, etc.

Thanks again for posting. Hopefully we can get you some answers soon!
