I want to purchase notation software for a family member so we can collaborate in writing music.  I have Finale 2014 running on Windows 10, family member also uses Windows.  Can I purchase PrintMusic for the family member and still read notation files she creates, and also still have her read notation files I create?

Hi Craig,

 

That's correct. You can share .musx, Finale 2014 - v25 file type, between Finale 2014 and PrintMusic 2014. The easiest way to ensure it opens is to choose File > Open and select the shared file.
