(System info in my profile which I need to update). I had a problem for years involving an installation that did result in Garritan Instruments being operational.  Finally, the MakeMusic Tech spoke to me by phone and we finally identified and resolved the problem.  Previous to this, I would click the install.  At the same time, another window opened saying that it would monitor the installation.  Later, the installation window would report that the installation was successful and that I could close the window.  Well, I thought that it meant that everything that I needed had been installed.  NOT TRUE!  Only the Finale app had been installed but not ARIA Player, Garritan Instruments, preferences, and libraries (I'm not sure what items).  I clicked something in this other window and installation of the other needed things started loading.  After completion, I opened ARIA Player and for the first time ever, I saw Garritan Instruments for Finale listed below the 16 channel boxes.  I could not find installation instructions anywhere that state that this other window must be followed through with.  The writer of instructions knows this, but it has to be stated for those of us who are trying the installation and don't know if not written in the instructions.
