Hello all!

Running Finale 25 on macOS Sierra, and I’m wondering:

1) Is there a way to completely disable Finale’s sometimes unhelpful auto-formatting of spacing? Working on a more complex score with some graphical notation elements, and Finale seems to want to help to ensure that elements overlap no matter how often I separate them. I would like it to trust my guidance over its intuition.

2) In a similar vein, I’d like to be able to fix the location of a bar line without interference.

Any suggestions?
