Hi - this is a feature request..

I find that the default fader levels lead to internal clipping in audio output anytime there's more than a few instruments, particularly if there are any ff's or higher.

I find I always need to reset the faders in either mixer or studio view. Doing this for an orchestral score is really hard on the wrist. I find that setting the master levels for banks and master output doesn't do the trick... the individual instruments all have to come down to 80 or lower.

Doing this with the mouse is a real pain. If each one offered numeric entry, or possibly group selection.. better yet, both of those - it would be a quantum improvement in our demo delivery workflow.

Hi Jonathan and Adrian:

Kudos to Adrian for point out the Score Manager. We do have stories on our roadmap to clean up the interface for playback as well mixing the instruments. Hopefully the current interface will suffice for now.

You can already set the Finale Mixer values numerically in the Score Manager by adding the Mix column(s) to your other Score Manager columns.

Thank you! Awesome feature !

Not where I'd expect to find it, intuitively speaking... but this is going to be a lifesaver.

I see that the fields are navigable - tab advances horizontally, "enter" enters the data, and the arrow key gets you to the next row. Fantastic.

I've discovered that the problems I had attributed to internal clipping (I read that somewhere that audio dropouts were from clipping in Finale), the actual cause was an inadequate playback buffer size. Changing it to the maximum has removed playback issues.
