I just upgraded to PrintMusic 2014.5 and want to know why the text doesn't import along with the music? I import as a tiff file. Do I REALLY have to go back in and type in every word?

I have a Mac 10.12.4. (Sierra)

Lyrics never imported via TIFF OCR via the Lite version of the Music OCR program MakeMusic included in Finale Products. To recognize lyrics, etc. one needed and needs the full SmartScore (or a similar) product.

OK, I understand that. Apparently, another person I work with using the 2011 version of PrintMusic WAS able to see lyrics so I wondered if something was taken away. Too bad - almost useless for me now as this is only a once-a-year project and $99 (after $70 for the upgrade) is too much for another upgrade. I'll ask him if he paid extra for the full version of SmartScore. Thank you for your prompt response though.
