Dear Friends! Could You please help me.... I got Dbmaj7 chord ... It looks ok but lets say I want to make distance between D and b( flat) a little bigger .. Another words .. how can I move b a milimetr to the right ? Another way ... lets say D and b are husband and wife .. how can I separate them afraction of inch ? Can omebody help me ? All the best for all community Bogdan Holownia

Thank you for posting here. The situation you are facing is the kerning between the chord letter and the alteration. While Document options allow vertical adjustments of the accidentals, I have not been able to spot any way (either in the chords or in the fonts Document Options) to alter the horizontal spacing.

 

I hope another luminary on this forum will be able to spot something for you that I have missed. Using the "Submit a request" link above may also help put you in touch with folks more knowledgeable about the way chord names are constructed.

Enter a "D" chord, use the Edit Button to add and place the b and other elements.

If the flat is moved too far, it could look like a

"D"   "flat 5",  or whatever extension, instead of

DFlat , and whatever extension.
