The default automatic beaming of eighth notes in my Finale PrintMusic 2011 has stopped. I can still beam manually using the "/" key. The online manual saysauto-beaming is the default and can be switched on or off using "Shift-/". Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work for me. I am running PrintMusic 2011 on Windows 7. Help?
Since you say the auto-beaming has "stopped," I am guessing that it did work as you wished at some time in the past. I am not familiar with PrintMusic, but if it works like full Finale (to a certain extent), the beaming is related to how you define your time signature. You might try playing around with that to see if you can restore the auto-beaming you desire.
