Finale Is Not responding to Keyboard Shortcuts

Hi,

I have selected the Simple Entry Tool, however, when i press 1, 2 or .. I don't get any notes duration, say when I press 7 on my keyboard, it does not change to whole note.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After an hour search I found a solution. As Laptop users: To use this set, choose Simple > Simple Entry Options and click Edit Keyboard Shortcuts. In the Edit Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box, from the Name drop-down menu, choose Laptop Shortcut Table.
