You need to remove personal info like your serial number from your post lest others poach your Printmusic license.

You can edit your post via the gearwheel icon at the bottom right of your posting.

That said, how do you want to beam them? Beaming usually follows the time signature. Defining 6/8 as two dotted quarters  beams each half of the measure together. Defining 6/8 as six eighth notes leaves each eighth flagged separately.

Individual beam sets can be broken or joined using the slash (/) key in Speedy Entry. Do a little experiment, and you'll start to see how.

I would recommend using the keyboard shortcut in Simple Entry to do this. After selecting the Simple Entry tool, you can use the arrow keys to select the second of the two notes that you wish to beam and then the forward slash key (/) to beam that note to the one preceding it. Here's a user manual article with some more useful keyboard shortcut information!

As a side note, I have edited your original post to remove the serial number posted there. For your security, we ask that you avoid posting secure information like serial numbers, email addresses, etc.
