Finale Mac 25.3

My score is laid out using the octavo page size set in the Page Format for Score dialog box.  Apparently (?), the octavo layout places page 1 on its own "page", with all subsequent pages in the score arranged 2-up (2-3, 4-5, 6-7, etc.).  However, I would like page 1 and 2 to occupy the same "page" in the Finale layout because I prefer that for page turn purposes. Having the first two pages arranged 2-up would also make the page numbers correctly display on the upper outer corner of each page.

How can re-order things so that the first page is included in a 2-up layout?

Thanks, and apologies if I've missed this in the manual!

Figured it out.  Here's what I did:

  1. Added a new blank page at the beginning of the score.
  2. Edited the first page number and changed the offset.  In my case, I needed to "add" -1 to the offset.  Happily, I found Finale would allow that value, and the page numbers are now correct.
  3. In my document setup tool, deleted the blank first page.
