Windows 10 with Finale 25

 

I have 4 staves in this score, flute, piano and horn (these are standins In the middle of the piece. I added in 10 measures, blank of course, wait no! the words were still there!! I tried to encircle them and delete them but it wouldn't work. I tried putting everything back and doing it again, same thing happened. AND some of the type (the words) were superimposed on another line. Even when I reverted, that double line was there. I am sending the score. measure 26 on.

 

But I don't know where to upload my score!

By "words" to you mean text? expressions? lyrics?

First save, close, and restart Finale. That often solves problems requiring a redraw of the screen.

If that does not help, can you post a (cropped) screen shot that shows the problem?

Some more information would definitely be helpful here, as you mentioned sending the score would be ideal; however, the current state of this forum does not allow for the attachment of non-image files. That being said, you could include a screenshot of the odd behavior in the score in your reply, or share your file using a shareable link from a service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or something similar.
